Giving Thanks!
I’ve learned more than ever during this healing journey, how important it is for me to live life with gratitude and find one thing (at least) each day to verbalize thankfulness for, like the sunlight that breathes life into my home as it pours through the windows. Laughter is another medicinal gift to our beings, and I purposefully embrace moments to laugh out loud. Checkout the science on this one! It's true: laughter is medicine to our bones.
I’m so very thankful to my husband and sons: David, Jordan, Matthew for walking in strength alongside me every step of the way! Thanks for encouraging and loving on me, for cooking healthy meals for me ‘Chef Dave’, and for being so patient as I determined, with God's help and guidance, my best path forward to restoration.
For my dear family who live in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada; your messages and prayers lifted me up regularly and sustained me. I'm especially grateful for my dear Mother, Adelaide, whose prayers lifted me up daily, and who encouraged me with kind, loving, hopeful words of Truth. To my brother Wayne, and sis-in-love Lara, thank you for your love and support from afar.
There are so many others of you who gave your encouragement to me, sending texts, emails and encouraging words. Thank you for your daily words, moments of medicinal laughter, and the sharing of wisdom from the scriptures, so I could hold fast and walk in His sustaining power.
Arthur & Rachel; for blessing me abundantly with frequent retreats to FarrBee Farm, in order to rest and recover. Such precious times spent with you both. I’m forever grateful.
Don & Carol, your kind dinner dates and check-ins of concern and love have meant so much to us! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support on this journey dear friends. We love you.
